Generation Z: emotional involvement in the learning process

Abstract: The article is devoted to the problem of forming a learning model for generation Z students whose professional activities will be related to media technologies and media communications. The development of Internet platforms and technologies, the gradual introduction of the web 3.0 concept encourages the improvement of professional skills: today the teacher needs to look not only for new ways of interactive communication with the audience, but also to introduce new learning tools, improve and modernize the educational trajectory of disciplines. The study proposes and tests the methodology of the educational process aimed at generating interest in the disciplines of the humanities of a media nature. The experiment was of a two-stage nature: at the first stage, a survey was conducted, its task was to identify whether students were aware of their expectations from the learning process; at the second stage, an educational model was tested with new educational components aimed at close communication with the practical industry and deepening professional knowledge. The experiment showed that emotional involvement in the development of the subject makes     it possible to increase the motivation of students and their interest in knowledge. The result of the experiment was the development of a new educational model based on interactive forms of learning and the convergence of the educational process with practical activities.
