Interdisciplinary connections planning to form professionally significant qualities of future teachers

Abstract. The article is devoted to the search for a solution to the problems of disunity and absence of pattern of knowledge received by students in related disciplines, as well as the search for ways of succession between previously studied and new material. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence and content of building intersubject connections in professional pedagogical education. The research was carried out on the basis of theoretical analysis of pedagogical science data, generalization, and systematization. The article analyzes the theoretical provisions of the organization peculiarities for intersubject connections and presents examples of the possibilities of this process in the university educational space. The essence and content of the integration of the educational process with the help of intersubject connections are analyzed. The characteristics of intersubject connections are given; the possibilities of this process are described. The results obtained can be used in the practice of educational institutions in order to integrate and systematize educational material, prevent students from being overloaded with material, and ensure continuity in the development of competencies.
