THE EXPERIENCES OF REFLECTIONS ON THE INNER MEANING OF GENESIS POEMS OF IVAN KARAMAZOV ABOUT THE GRAND INQUISITOR IN THE NOVEL OF F. M. DOSTOEVSKY “THE BROTHERS KARAMAZOV”

Abstract:

Introduction. Too frequent mentioning of the “legends of the Grand Inquisitor” in the XX and early XXI centuries, including the journalistic environment, forces us to revert to the text in order to actualize but not to lose its meanings.

Methods and methodology. Dialectical research method is used.

Results. Exploring the problem of falsehood of human nature, truth and free faith, the author gradually approaches the concept of humanity in F. M. Dostoevsky works and the mystery of man being still inextrica-bly linked with his involvement with Christ.

Conclusions. The author of the article reflects on the existential and substantial meanings of human life in the poem by Ivan Karamazov, about the meaning of the “dialogue” of the great inquisitor with the silent Christ, about the moral riddle of the symbol of the kiss of Jesus, about the subject dialectic of good and evil, truth and falsehood, action and inaction, self-interest and selflessness.
