Abstract:

Nowadays, the task of developing spiritual and moral values among the younger generation is one of the priorities in the social protection system. The current state of Russian society has led to a change in the value orientations of children in a socially dangerous situation, deforming their previously existing beliefs and views. The unpopularity of such concepts as «duty», «conscience», «honor», «justice», «spirituality» has made a negative contribution to the moral and psychological state of children. The goal is to identify the features of perceptions of justice in adolescents at risk in the context of social protection institutions.
To achieve this goal, we used: an open-type questionnaire, the method «Justice-care» by S. V. Molchanov, the questionnaire «Faith in a just world» by K. Dalbert, the method «scale of sensitivity to justice» by sh. Schmitt (adaptation by S. K. Nartova-Bochaver), the method «Scale of family environment», aimed at studying the features of representations of justice in adolescents at risk.
The moral portrait of teenagers, their degree of respect for social norms and ethical requirements of society is shown; the semantic field of ideas about justice and individual susceptibility to situations of injustice are determined. Significant connections were found between the unfavorable social situation in the family and distorted ethical views of adolescents; faith in the General justice of the world and the sensitivity of the victim, delinquent attitudes and socially negative goals. It is concluded that adolescents in the risk group demonstrate a weak awareness of the category of justice and issues affecting it. The social situation in the family plays a significant role in the formation of ethical ideas.
