The concept of Prishvin’s personality and his true fairy tale.
Based on the materials of the diaries of M. Prishvin

Abstract: The concept of Prishvin’s personality as an important aspect of his worldview was not systematized and it is still ignored by researchers in China. In our world, while there are wars and epidemics, it is important to read Prishvin and learn a lesson from him. In this paper, the concept of Prishvin’s personality is illustrated by the results of the motivational and conceptual analysis of “personality” in his diaries. Prishvin only set the personal value. His understanding is close to Christianity. In his opinion, the property is a consequence of the materialization of one’s personality. Wholeness is an indispensable condition for the emergence of a personality. His writings are an attempt to define himself as a person in history. In Prishvin’s works one can find the same theme of the struggle of an individual for the right to his existence, the essence of an individual is the meaning of life, and by this line of reasoning the society is impossible without this meaning. Prishvin was a representative of the personalprinciple allowing no substitution of the whole soul with a particularity; he was a realist, not a naturalist in his works. The Christian “subtext” of Prishvin’s works and his attempt to express it in fairy tales should not be ignored. The main idea of the concept of Prishvin’s personality is the so-called personalism in the philosophical sense, it is personalism in an unsystematic development and figurative, specific interpretation by Prishvin in Russia based on his experience of life and creativity. The existential-personalistic trend of Prishvin’s interpretation of Me in its loving attitude towards You (the Other) in their dialogue differs from the philosophy of postmodernism.
