Cognitive level of the fifth-gradersalienation from learning activity

Abstract: А pressing issue today is the decline in students’ interest in educational activities. In this work, only the results of the cognitive component, obtained by its main indicators in 5th grade students are considered. The results obtained are analyzed in the process of studying the process of alienation, its initial stage of formation, alienation from educational activities and alienation from the school as a whole. This class is important because the students have moved from primary school to the secondary level, where new requirements are imposed on their mental activity. The emerging process of alienation among 5th grade students is alarming that a significant part of them do not show a desire to learn. This testifies to the beginning of a tendency towards a decrease in the cognitive interest in educational activities and the desire to go beyond the framework of the modern education system.

Keywords: school, learners, learning activities, alienation.
