Preschool teacher training in the Omsk region in historical retrospect

Abstract: The article presents the results of a study of the system of training and postgraduate support for teachers of preschool education in the Omsk region. Taking into account the fact that teacher education always means a combination of theoretical and practical training, formal, non-formal and informal education (self-education), the authors pay attention to all of these aspects. The stages of formation and development of the training of educators are described, as well as their meaningful characteristics are given. Representing one or another stage of the historical formation of the process under study, the authors of the article correlate and compare it with the processes that took place in Russia in the field of preschool workers training. The purpose of the study is to identify the historical stages and distinctive features of the Omsk model of training teachers for preschool institutions. The stages are presented from the moment the training of personnel for kindergartens began to the current stage of modernization of teacher education in Russia. Conclusions are drawn about the contribution of each stage to the practice of educators training in the Omsk region.
