THE TRAGEDY OF THE CIVIL WAR AND THE DAILY LIFE OF THE WHITE CAPITAL OF RUSSIA IN THE OMSK POETS VERSES (JUNE 1918 – NOVEMBER 1919)

Introduction. The reflection of Civil war and everyday life in verses of the White Omsk poets in 1918–1919 (in the period of the Temporary all-Russian government and the government of Admiral A. V. Kolchak) is investigated. The aim is to identify the phenomena of social life worried Omsk poets most of all.

Methods and methodology. The research is conducted on the basis of socio-cultural approach, methods of historical description, typology. Using the vast poetic material of 1918-1919 (newspapers and poetry collections), the most important events and phenomena that worried Omsk poets, the most typical verses themes of White Omsk are highlighted.

Results. The Civil war and everyday life reflection in the verses of the White Omsk poets in 1918–1919 (in the period of the Temporary all-Russian government and the government of Admiral A. Kolchak) are examined. In 1918-1919 there were quite a few publications where poets could publish their verses. They were “Zarya”, “Nasha zatya”, “Russkaya armiya”, “Nasha gazeta” newspapers and “Velikaya Rossiya”, “Ir-tysh” magazines. Some poems collections were published and the most famous of them was the “1919”.

Conclusions. White Omsk poets tried to answer questions concerning the causes of the revolution and Civil war. White poets sharply criticized the rules prevailed in Soviet Russia. In the poems one can come across the accusations of Bolsheviks of lies and deception, the killing of innocent people, and destruction of the historically established social and spiritual institutions. The shortcomings such as corruption, expensive-ness, speculation, the incredible sharpness of the housing problem prevailed in Omsk, in the White capital of Russia were denoted in verses.
