Abstract:

Introduction. Scientists interpret the definition of economic security quite widely, and many authors present this concept as a variety of different types of security. In this regard, in theoretical terms, additional argumentation of the species composition of economic security is required, as well as the relationship of economic security with its other forms, such as environmental, political, and technogenic ones. This is due to the many-sided processes taking place in the economic activity of the company, business entities of the region and the country. The nature of heterogeneity of economic security has predetermined the complexity of formulating a universal definition of “economic security”. Researchers define the security field differently depending on the object and the level of the analysis. With the advent of the digital age and the widespread introduction of intelligent systems in human life (“smart city”, the creation of high-speed Internet 5G, automation of production processes, etc.), economic security is moving to a new stage of its development. The absence of the legal framework for economic security in the sphere of digitalization of the economy creates threats and risks to the safe functioning of economic processes. The purpose of this article is to study the influence of processes and factors on the formation of economic security, to reveal its structure, to offer the author’s view of the socio – economic phenomenon under consideration, to determine what is necessary for the unified understanding of economic security.
Materials and Methods. When studying the issue of typology of economic security, the works of domestic and foreign scientists, as well as the legislative framework of the Russian Federation were studied. The selection of the array of information was carried out by special and general scientific research methods of economic functions and phenomena. It included economic-statistical, inductive, deductive, quantitative, historical, monographic methods, methods of scientific knowledge, in particular, methods of the comparative analysis, of the system analysis, generalization and systematization, a dialectic-logical method. To display the results obtained, a graphical method, an expert evaluation method and a statistical-factual method were used. Classification design methods were also used.
Results. The approaches of various authors and official bodies to the interpretation of the concept of “economic security” are studied. The scheme of levels and sectors of influence on economic security is developed. The influence of the sanctions regime on the state of the Russian economy is analyzed.
Conclusions.
To create common standards for ensuring economic security, it is necessary to create a unified regulatory framework, broken down into certain areas of activities that regulate the achievement of goals in ensuring economic security.
