Social and pedagogical support of students at special education educational institutions

Abstract:

The study considers the problem of supporting students of a custodial institution to make an enabling professional choice. The purpose of the article is to show the possibilities of sociopedagogical support of maladaptive minors in ensuring a favorable course of their socialization, including an open society. The research is based on environmental and personal approaches. In the experimental activity, a set of diagnostic methods was used to identify the readiness of students to make a conscious professional choice. The authors analyzed the effectiveness of the developed program of social and pedagogical support for students of a special custodial educational institution; its content is focused on the motivational component of readiness for an enabling choice of professional future. The article shows the need to take into account the peculiarities of labor training in a special educational institution when performing career guidance work with students. The importance of developing programs of social and pedagogical support that coincide in duration with the period of real professional choice, adaptation of the individual to the conditions of training or work is emphasized.
