Abstract:

The article is concerned with the problem of assessing the possibilities of using simulation to solve problems of economic planning and optimization in the healthcare sector of the Russian Federation. The aim of the article is to test the developed simulation model for providing medical care to patients with coronary heart disease in all types of medical organizations. The study was conducted using an agent approach. Based on the results of simulation modeling, indicators were calculated that determine the activity of medical organizations per month. It has been found that the patient’s medical appeal has seasonal variability in its structure: cycles with a frequency of 1.5, 2, 3 months are revealed. These indicators are characterized by a high level of fluctuation, which indicates a high level of uncertainty in the implementation of the processes of providing medical services. Some patients who are in a state of exacerbation of the disease do not apply for medical care. Summing up the results, it can be concluded that the obtained simulation results can be used to solve optimization problems in healthcare.
