Mathematical education evolution in the context of informatization: trends and results reviews

Abstract:

Basing on a literature review, the article examines the influence of informatization and digitalization processes on approaches to research in the field of mathematics and methods of teaching mathematics. The main method used in the article is a comparative retrospective analysis of scientific publications of different historical periods. Computers introduced into both mathematics and mathematics education became the subject of active discussion in foreign and national publications since the ϿЇЄϾs. Herewith, it turned out that direct interconnection of mathematics and computer technology contributes to productivity in the field of mathematics as well as it helps increase the effectiveness of mathematics teaching.
