Abstract:

Efficiency improvement of light industry processes is one of the most important problems facing the Russian economy; it cannot be solved without the development and comprehensive implementation of automation tools in production, including the manufacture of fur products. The purpose of the study is to conduct a comparative analysis of the technological processes effectiveness for manufacturing ready-made garments production and goods made of various materials, it allowed us to identify the least automated business processes.
The analysis of the problem area was carried out on the basis of the function-specific modeling methodology, according it the business processes are considered as a sequence of interrelated functions or activities that transform input information or material flows into output through the use of certain resources, methods and tools. In the course of the research, function-specific models of technological business processes for the manufacture of clothing and fur products were constructed in accordance with the requirements of the IDFϾ notation. Based on a comparative analysis of the developed models, the least automated business processes are identified and one of the approaches to their automation is proposed basing on determining the most significant characteristics of fur semi-finished products that most affect the quality of the final product. The main stages of the software implementation allowing automating the processes of manufacturing fur products are as follows: developing the structure and creating a database of the most significant properties of fur semi-finished products, developing software for determining the characteristics of fur semi-finished products, automating the processes of sorting, rationing and collecting skins for the product.
