STATE REGULATION OF ORGANIC PRODUCTS MARKET IN RUSSIA

An assessment of the state and prospects of expanding the market capacity of organic food products is given. The regulatory and legal framework for regulating the organic products market in Russia and abroad is analyzed. The conditions for the development of organic products market are described. The transformation of the structures of the world food markets influenced the development of the sphere of “or- ganic” agricultural production. Demand for organic products is growing rapidly. If the European Union in its time has created an effective system for regulating the production of organic products, in Russia this production is only being formed. It is alleged that Russia uses only part of its potential in the field of agri- cultural development, including the production of organic food products, in conditions of restricting the importation of food into the country as a response to Western sanctions. It is proved that the development of the “green economy” concept in Russia will allow agricultural organizations, taking into account state regu- lation, to form a new niche of the organic products market and to expand the offer of “organic products” in the world market.
