The article is devoted to the analysis of the problem of vector educational migration in the Omsk region on the basis of using the methodology of cognitive modeling. The initial data for the creation of cognitive models were: the results of a pilot sociological survey, expert assessments and statistical data from open Internet sources. During the research, cognitive models of incoming and outgoing educational flows were developed and simulation experiments were conducted, which allowed to draw a conclusion about the degree of influence of interrelated fac-tors on each other and on the resulting vector educational migration, and also formulate recommendations for the effective management of migration educational flows.
