Abstract:

The article touches upon the problem of teaching foreign students textual activities. From the stand-point of the semantic-cognitive approach the process of quality formation the skills of text mastering and text construction is based on the stages of communicant speech-and-thinking activity and includes the anal-ysis of semantics, pragmatics and syntactics of units, constructing the text, translation by several mental operations to the structures of inner speech and the production of these structures to the external plan con-sidering the text presuppositions and implications.
