Abstract:
The book by I. A. Goncharov «Pallada Frigate» (1858) – the outstanding work by the Russian classic which in many respects is not comprehended in literary criticism still. In this work features of poetics of the narration, in particular a landscape role in creation of epic figurativeness of the book are for the first time analysed. The genre and style originality of the work is presented as synthesis of a national image of the world.
