The effectiveness of badminton in physical education of students with diseases of the musculoskeletal system

Abstract: The article is devoted to finding a solution to the problem of health improvement and physical education of students of a special medical group, depending on the noozological group, creating conditions for optimizing the educational process. Theoretical and practical provisions of physical education of students of a special medical group in higher education, the essence and content of academic studies in a special medical group of various directions, namely game sports, general physical training, fitness are analyzed. The characteristics of the means and methods of physical education used for academic studies in a special medical group at the university are given. The results of the pedagogical experiment allow us to state that the use of sports games, in particular badminton, contributes to the optimization of the educational process, strengthening and maintaining the health of those involved in a special medical group.
