METHODOLOGICAL FEATURES OF MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE METHODS CONVERGENCE IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING DISCIPLINES WITHIN “MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE” SUBJECT AREA

Abstract:

Introduction. The article considers the need to develop scientific and methodological practices for study-ing the content of “Mathematics and Computer Science” subject area in the aspect of convergent education.

Materials and Methods. The study is conducted on the basis of theoretical analysis and generaliza-tion of psychological and pedagogical science provisions; analysis of scientific papers on convergent educa-tion; analysis of works devoted to teaching “Mathematics and Computer Science” subject area disciplines.

The results are presented in determining as a result the convergence of Mathematics and Computer Science methods, scientific and methodical practices of teaching the disciplines of the “Mathematics and Computer Science ” subject area.

Conclusions. The revealed scientific and methodical practicing of teaching the disciplines of “Math-ematics and Computer Science” subject area allow defining methodical recommendations about sharing Mathematics and Computer Science methods in teaching the disciplines of “Mathematics and Computer Science” subject area.
