STARTUPS AS INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGY OF FUTURE ENGINEERS TRAINING IN MODERN TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract:

Introduction. The article discusses the issues of future engineers training in modern technical university by means of innovative educational technologies. The aim of the article is to consider startups as one of innovative educational technologies.
Materials and methods. The research is carried out on the basis of methods of the theoretical analysis and synthesis of the provisions of philosophical, pedagogical and economic sciences and also the analysis of teaching practices.
Results. The main characteristics of educational process in modern technical university are analyzed. They are: development of a single education area, implementation of considerable scientific and innovative activity, establishment of effective interaction of the universities with schools, research institutes, business and society and expansion of the international aspects of activity as well. Taking into consideration the listed tasks, there is crucial to create special conditions for the talented, purposeful, intellectually developed, having innovative potential future engineers training. One of the necessary conditions of innovative engineers training is the introduction of innovative educational technologies based on competence and practice-focused approaches to the educational process of technical university. Special attention is paid to studying of a possibility of startups using as innovative educational technology of future innovative engineers training. The notion, structure, main characteristics and principles of startups and their using in modern technical university are analyzed.
Conclusions. The conclusion that startups are used in modern educational process of technical university mainly as final qualification work is drawn and can be considered as innovative educational technology. Besides, ways of further studying of the issues connected with introduction of startups in educational process of technical university are planned.
