Abstract:

The problem of population morbidity and the selection of effective treatment for acute respiratory diseases, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, and also taking into account objective reasons – imposing restrictions on the population in planned medical care, served as the basis for studying the possibilities of non-drug methods of exposure to the body with the goal of treatment and prevention of acute respiratory diseases. Patients were treated for 14 days or more (according to indications) using the method of application phytoreflexotherapy. The results of interviewing and treatment of 85 patients were analyzed. For applications, vegetable raw materials were used in a predetermined proportion, placed in a capsule, applied and fixed with a bracelet (fixative). The therapeutic effect is manifested by a decrease in the intensity of the
clinical symptoms of the disease within 24-48 hours and their complete disappearance within a period of up to 15 days. The study demonstrated the effectiveness of application phytoreflexotherapy in the treatment of acute respiratory viral infections on an outpatient basis, as well as in the mode of remote interaction with patients.
