POST-DEGREE SUPPORT FOR GRADUATES OF PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITIES

Abstract:

Introduction. The research concentrates on the problem of post-degree support for young teachers. The purpose of the article is to reveal a system of scientific and methodological support for the professional development of young teachers.
Materials and Methods. The study is based on the methods of literature analysis, teachers’ survey, and designing the system of support.
Results are to identify professional difficulties of young teachers and design a system of scientific and pedagogical support for the professional development of young teachers. The article examines a possi-bility of creating a regional system of post-degree support for graduates of pedagogical universities, de-signed on a diagnostic basis, taking into account the difficulties of teachers at different stages of profession-al development. It reveals the content, forms and conditions of support for young teachers.
Conclusions. The success of post-degree support for young teachers is ensured by the organization of a continuous learning process based on the results of individual diagnostics of teachers’ difficulties and the construction of an individual road map of professional development. The authors concluded that the organization of scientific and pedagogical support for young teachers, designed on a diagnostic basis, tak-ing into account individual needs would enable to respond to actual needs of teachers and provide their pro-fessional formation and motivation to pedagogical activity.
