Abstract:

Introduction. This is a research on high-tech simulators use in the process of future engineers train-ing in transport universities. The purpose of the article is to analyze high – tech simulators, to determine their features, to identify the characteristic features for their typification, which may be used when training future specialists for railway transport.

Methodology. The research is conducted on the basis of theoretical research methods.

The results are presented in the typification of high-tech simulators, being a means of bringing pro-cesses and devices into a system, and it allows a teacher or a supervisor to make a more conscious choice in favor of a particular application of a particular device.

Conclusions. It is concluded that modern simulators used in railway engineers training are quite di-verse, but they can be typed on various methodological grounds. The presented hierarchical structure of typification makes the approach to teaching students more methodically justified and provides an opportunity to build a more systematic training program taking into account the emphasis on the activity component.
