Abstract:

Introduction. This is the research on the problem of sustainable development of tourist organizations from the standpoint of maximizing the efficiency of recreational resources. The purpose of the article is to assess the impact of recreational resources on the sustainable development of the tourist organization.

Materials and methods. The research is conducted using methods of cognition (deduction and in-duction, synthesis and analysis), systematization, and generalization.

Results. The study showed that in order to ensure sustainable development, it is necessary to deter-mine the limits of economic growth, which is to estimate the value of the marginal profit per unit of service growth and the maximum level of consumption of recreational resources by tourist organizations within the permissible level of anthropogenic load.

Conclusions. The authors concluded that improving the efficiency of the use of recreational re-sources involves their direct involvement in economic activities of tourist organizations. In this context, they should be considered as factors of production.
