OPPORTUNITIES FOR STUDENT LEARNING INDIVIDUALIZATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS AT A PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

Abstract:

Introduction. The article deals with the problem of individualization of the educational process in higher education. The purpose of the article is to identify and substantiate the opportunities for student teaching individ-ualization as a resource for personal development and ensuring the quality of professional education.

Materials and Methods. Based on the analysis of the research, the essential characteristics of the phenomena “individualization”, “individual-oriented education”, “personalization”, “opportunity”, “choice” are highlighted and presented. Special attention is paid to the integration of external and internal contexts of individualization.

Results. The results consist in identifying and justifying the opportunities for student teaching indi-vidualization in ensuring personal development, as well as implementing the idea of individualization in the educational process at a pedagogical university and in conditions of extracurricular activities, formulating actual tasks and problems caused by the characteristics of individually-oriented teaching in the practice of modern professional education.

Conclusions. The author came to the conclusion that successful individually-oriented education is ensured by the integration of all the resources of higher education, the implementation of an comprehensive approach.
