MASTERING THE CREATIVE HERITAGE OF OUTSTANDING MASTERS OF RUSSIAN NATIONAL DANCE IN THE PROCESS OF TEACHING STUDENTS OF CHOREOGRAPHIC SPECIALIZATIONS

Abstract:

Introduction. The article is devoted to the actual problem of teaching samples of the creative herit-age of eminent masters of Russian folk stage dance in the process of teaching students of choreographic specializations. The modern educational techniques in choreographic education are considered. Various methods are being studied using an e-learning environment. An attempt was made to analyze the features of practical mastering of samples of the dance heritage of prominent figures of Russian folk dance for further use in creative work as examples of theme, idea, image and the entire dance composition determination. The main focus is on the acquiring independent work skills by students when mastering creative heritage.

Materials and Methods. The study is based on the methods of scientific and methodological litera-ture analysis and generalization of modern educational techniques in choreographic education.

Results. The analysis of the creative heritage of outstanding figures of Russian choreographic art is carried out in two main areas: the study of Russian folk stage dance samples based on folk traditions and folklore; study of classical dance samples set on the basis of Russian folk dance. There are two main ways for students to study choreographic heritage samples: to analyze dances by records; to analyze dances using video. The mechanism for choreographers’ independent work organization to master the dance heritage is described in detail.

Conclusions. Based on the foregoing, it can be noted that the study of the creative heritage of the great masters of choreographic art contributes to the formation of performance skills among students; knowledge of technique and manner of execution of lexical material, the stylistic features of Russian folk dance; the laws and rules of the composition of the Russian dance; independent work with images of chore-ographic works.
