Abstract:

Introduction. A research on the development of students health-saving competence is presented from the point of view of University teacher’s activity organization as a condition for the development of students’ independence in the activity of preserving their health. The problem is the lack of clear positions in relation to the presentation of educational results of students in the field of General cultural competen-cies. One of the most important key competencies is a health saving competence. However, with all the va-riety of works devoted to this topic, the question of the final results on the formation of this competence among University graduates is still open, which should be the subject of close attention for a teacher at the stage of designing students activities and educational results. The purpose of the authors is to present the basic conceptual provisions and technological steps describing the teacher’s activities designing students’ educational results in the field of General cultural competence on the example of health saving competence.

Methodology. The study is based on the methods of theoretical analysis. The authors dwell on the competence-activity approach as the most effective methodological basis contributing to the solution of the stated problem.

The results are to present the technology of the teacher’s activity on the design of students’ educa-tional results in the field of health saving competence within the “Physical Culture and Sport” discipline.

Conclusions. It is concluded that the process of designing students’ educational results in the teach-er’s activities should be carried out in accordance with the competence and activity based approach and in-clude a detailed description of the final results of students at the stage of completion of “Physical Culture and Sport” discipline through the formed skills, knowledge and personal qualities. The basis for the presen-tation of results in a systematic and structural form should be allocated within the competence of health ac-tivities, which are mastered by University graduates.
