Abstract:

Introduction. The paper concentrates on the search of the effective methods of mentoring part-time students who prepare graduation theses devoted to methods of teaching English with the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). The purpose of the paper is to ground and develop an approach to the use of ICT in the process of mentoring part-time students who prepare graduation theses devoted to methods of teaching English.
Materials and Methods. During the research, the methods of analysis and generalization were used. Part-time students of the foreign languages faculty took part in the experimental work.
Results. The developed approach of mentoring part-time students who prepare graduation theses devoted to methods of teaching English with the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) is described in the paper. During the experimental work, the approach has proved to be effective.
Conclusions. The use of ICT, which are implemented to mentor part-time students who prepare graduation theses, are to allow the mentor to carry out pedagogical and psychological support of students and their exploratory activities.
