Shaping moral qualities of cadets of the educational organizations of the Ministry of internal affairs of Russia as part of professional education

Abstract:

Personal qualities of a police officershould contribute to his official duties assigned by current legislation. Professional education is one of methods shaping required qualities. It is the pedagogical process helping an employee to become a persona spiring to self-development and self-actualization. The purpose of the article is to specify personal qualities the police of ficerss hould possess (according to cadets poin to view) and ifcadets have the sequalities.
The authors conduct this research on the basis of the scientific literature analysis devoted to professional education problematics and basing on questioning and interviewing of cadets of the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system of Russia.
The authors found out the qualities a police officer should possess, and also the qualities the current staff members have possessed according to cadets’ opinion. On the basis of the conducted research the authors come to a conclusion that cadets do not give necessary attention to such qualities as humanity, professionalism, patriotism, honour, accuracy. Current police officers do not possess the necessary level of observance of legality and erudition. The authors offer some methods shaping these qualities.
