Course content improvement for municipal employees retraining in the field of digital technologies at professional development courses

Abstract:

The problem of the study is determined by a contradiction between the existing approaches to municipal employees retraining in the field of digital technology, they do not ensure the updating of the courses content, the construction of the educational process models in the system of advanced training and the need to improve the content of disciplines at professional development courses in the field of digital technologies use in professional activities for municipal employees. The purpose of the article is to identify the peculiarities of the retraining courses content improvement for municipal employees in the field of digital technologies use in professional activity.
The study is carried out basing on analysis and generalization of fundamental works in the field of continuous vocational education, theory of adult education, competency approach.
The results consist in the content design of municipal employees retraining courses in the field of digital technologies use in professional activities at professional development courses.
The system of professional development courses is an integral part of continuing vocational education and is a complex organizational system. Content improvement of the of municipal employees retraining courses in the field of digital technologies in professional activity (including theoretical and practical training) will provide conditions for improvement and development of digital competence of municipal administration employeeы. The results ofthe study can be used in the practice of professional development course organization formunicipal employeesin the digital economy conditions.
