CONTRASTIVE ANALYSIS OF AHMAD TEA’S REPRESANTATION IN RUSSIAN AND ENGLISH ADVERTISING TEXTS

Introduction. The purpose of this article is representation of the same product of the tea company

Ahmad in advertising texts oriented to English-speaking and Russian-speaking customers.

Problem. Research relevance is caused by linguistic interest to advertising texts as a method of creat- ing goods presentation depending on language and culture of customers.

Methods. For this research English and Russian words from Ahmad sites were found by means of en- tire selection and contrastive analysis of defined characteristics was carried out.

Results. The main characteristics that influence teas are described and features of these characteristics depending on different customers. In the article the peculiarity of text composition is compared, lexical fea- tures of transferring depending on the native speaker’s language and mentality are analized.

Summary. The authors drew a conclusion that product image, represented in English and Russian texts distinguishes peculiarity of describing of defined characteristics.
