Abstract:
The article analyses the problem of media education in the modern Russian school. It reveals the importance of mediaeducation for the younger generation in connection with the possibilities of the media to influence the people minds understanding it as a factor of socialization in modern society. It describes the content of mediacompetence and the possibility of its development in a comprehensive school. The study determines the relationship between the media competence, information and communicative competence and computer competence in secondary school.
