Abstract:
The article is considered the significance of mathematical preparation for the students of transport branch in the study of the discipline “Computer Science”. It was analyzed the federal state educational standards of higher education for the directions of transport branch. And it was extracted a set of competen-cies; the formation of those ones have to facilitate highly qualified engineers’ training. It was defined the main topics of the disciplines “Mathematics” and “Computer Science”, in which their interdisciplinary con-nections can be traced. It was proposed the examples of corresponding tasks, the methodical guidelines for the construction of lessons in mathematics and computer science from the perspective of the interdiscipli-nary connections.
