Abstract:
The paper aimed to present the evaluation method for the rural development level of Peasant Farms in the Republic of Moldova. The proposed assessment method is defined by the Stochastic Frontier Analy-sis of half-normal Gaussian distribution. There are presented the economic-social characteristics of the households and the statistical performance of farms. It was revealed the functional relationship between the rural development level of peasant farms and income from various categories of activities.
