Regional periodicals of the agro-industrial complex: problem-thematic, functional-genre specificity (on the example of the “Rural Siberia” publication)

Abstract. Researchers of modern Russian periodicals note the dynamically developing sector of the specialized press
in the system of journalism. Today there are about 3 thousand sectoral periodicals published in the Russian Federation,
but this segment has not been practically studied yet. This factor determines the relevance of the presented work. The
object of the research is the regional information and analytical journal “Rural Siberia”. The subject of the research is the
problem-thematic and genre originality of the regional agricultural periodicals. The purpose of the study is to identify the
problem-thematic specifics and genre originality of periodicals of the agro-industrial complex.
