Abstract: The formation of information and methodological competencies of a physical education teacher necessary for the selection and use of software and hardware for the personalization of physical loads of cadets in the process of physical education is one of the tasks of digital transformation of education. The understanding of the information competence of the physical education teacher in the field of personalization of physical activity of cadets in the process of physical education has been expanded. Theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of information competence of a physical education teacher in the field of personalization of physical activity of cadets in the process of physical education are revealed. The theoretical analysis of the methodological foundations of the formation of information and methodological competencies of a physical education teacher made it possible to find out that modern methodological approaches provide for the establishment of general pedagogical patterns as the basis of scientific research, the establishment of ideological positions. The analysis of scientific sources has shown that one of the priority directions of improving the physical education of cadets is the development of information and methodological competencies of a physical education teacher in the field of personalization of physical loads of cadets in the process of physical education, a high level of formation of which is a necessary prerequisite for further improving the level of professional competence of a physical education teacher.
