Computer Science teachers using the mobile technologies

Abstract: The research problems discussed in the article are determined by the need to increase the significance of programming as a component of the subject training of future Computer Science teachers, the development of algorithmic thinking and cognitive motivation in them. The improvement of the methods of teaching object-oriented programming to students of pedagogical universities of the «IT» profile is carried out on the basis of the use of teaching methods that reflect the current trends in the development of the personalization of the educational process using mobile technologies.Theoretical substantiation and practical approbation of the methodology of personalized programming training for future computer science teachers provides an increase in the quality of their subject training.The methodological basis of the research is a personalized approach to teaching. The idea of this approach is to creat didactic conditions allowing students to build individual educational routes independently, taking into account personal development needs. In the course of the study, theoretical and empirical research methods were used. The pedagogical experiment was built to assess the effectiveness of the developed methodology and was carried out on the basis of PavlodarPedagogical University.The authors’ attention is focused on the description of the target, content, technological components and the results of the implementation of the methodology of personalized object-oriented programming training for future Computer Science teachers. The target component of the methodology reflects the requirements that are imposed on the teacher as a specialist in the field of Computer Science. The content component of the methodology is represented by a set of educational tasks of various target orientation, on the basis of which the construction of individual educational routes is carried out. The technological component includes the applied instrumental systems and mobile learning environments, as well as the stages of methodology implementation: individualized training, team training and meta-object training. The conducted pedagogical experiment made it possible to identify and record an increase in the level of formation of students’ subject competencies in the field of programming. A personalized approach allows you to bring the process of teaching object-oriented programming to future computer science teachers to a new level. Mobile learning tools as information and technological support for students to build individual educational routes independently, to expand the possibilities of the electronic information and educational environment of the university and provide the educational process with distributed resources and services. The developed methodology contributes to improving the quality of subject training of Bachelors of Education of the IT profile.
