Abstract:
Introduction. The article presents and describes the directions of the “Computer Science” subject matter actualization, in accordance with modern scientific and technological innovations of the digital technologies era.
Materials and Methods. The idea of the «Computer Science» subject matter in basic school sug-gested by us is based on the statement about the meta-discipline competencies forming which can provide an individual with comfort in the modern world where IT are constantly and systematically used in educa-tion, in everyday life, in professional activity.
Results. We suggest some additions to the traditional «Computer Science» subject matter for prima-ry, basic and general secondary education. These additions are connected with the achievements in the field of computer science and digital technologies. We pay special attention to the methods of informational se-curity for educational purposes, both in analog and digital ways of implementation.
