EDUCATIONAL IDEAS BY A. S. MAKARENKO IN PEDAGOGY OF GIFTED CHILDREN

Introduction. Traditionally, gifted children are considered as ‘difficult’ children. While analyzing theoretical and practical materials, the author pays attention on the fact that the challenges of gifted per- son’s growth and socialization in this world are conditioned by the nature of the giftedness itself. Thus, it is necessary to take into consideration the process of gifted children upbringing.

The purpose of the paper is to attract the attention of teachers working with gifted children to peda- gogical experience of A. S. Makarenko who was an expert in the field of ‘difficult’ children upbringing.

Conclusion. To achieve the results of gifted child harmonious development in today’s school it is necessary to use a valuable pedagogical experience of A. S. Makarenko in the field of ‘difficult’ children upbringing. It is important to help gifted children timely; understand and master their positive experience of communication and interaction with other children and adults.
