ABOUT CONCEPTS OF PERSONALITY AND ITS RELATIONS TO THE WORLD IN THE THEORETICAL JUDGMENTS OF EARLY ROMANTICS

Introduction. On the basis of philosophical and aesthetic judgments of the early romantics (mainly by Schlegel) the article reveals the dialect of the world and the originality of romantic humanism, expressed in the understanding of the relationship between the world and the individual as a unity, interpenetration, friendly communication.

Results. Romantics demanded from the person of invariable vital activity, imposed on him a kind of duty to act for the sake of the future. The freedom of the individual, so passionately preached by the early romantics, was to be expressed first of all in the work of perfecting the world.

Conclusions. The concept of the personality of the early romantics testifies to the humanistic nature of their ideals and ideas.
