THE WAYS OF ECONOMICALLY EFFICIENT REGIME OF LABOR AND REST FORMATION AT THE ENTERPRISES

Introduction. Problem and purpose. For each enterprise, there is a problem of a long-term required labor productivity level maintenance, which significantly affects the economic efficiency of its activity. The planning of the work and rest regime is the main way to eliminate this problem, but the tools used at the enterprises are usually limited. The purpose of scientific research is a systematic description of the directions aimed to increase the economic efficiency of an enterprise by improving the work and rest regime.

Methods and methodology. Basing on the analysis, the labor and leisure aspects directly influencing the increase in the enterprise economic efficiency are systematized. The research was conducted on the basis of the study of the current regulatory and legal acts regulating the issues under consideration, modern approaches and dependencies described by domestic and foreign authors.

Results. The following factors influencing the working efficiency such as the intensity of work, its severity, physical and mental fatigue, the duration and continuity of labor, the use of protective equipment, the timely readiness to perform work, the employees’ awareness of their importance and the significance of the work they perform, organizational and the technological need to shift the beginning and end of shifts, the schedule of holidays, weekends and public holidays, daily (intercity) rest and inter-shift breaks were analyzed. It is considered how the work and rest regime is connected with these factors and with the basic principles of production processes organization in order to ensure their economic efficiency.

Summary. Despite the complexity and multifaceted nature of the problem, the complex solution of the issues of the formation of the work and rest regime for the employees of the enterprise according to the directions given in the article makes it possible to solve the problem of increasing the economic efficiency of its work substantially and long-term.
