Introduction. The specificity of professional activity of students-choreographers is considered. Previously presented information in the scientific literature about “dance” and its connection with the spiritual and physical condition of the performer are analyzed. The importance of improving the level of special physical preparedness of students is revealed.

Problem statement. The article formulates the problem of research, the essence of which is to justify the methods of improving the level of special physical training of students-choreographers for the performance of feminine stunt elements of Russian folk dance.

The content of the study. The most technically complex stunt elements of the Russian feminine folk dance – fractional tapping and rotation-are determined. The classification of “choreographic coordination” and the definition of “coordination in choreography” on the analysis of research I. G. Esaulova, N. B. Sokovikova, E. V. Perlina. On the basis of the revealed types of coordination abilities the technique of improvement of level of special physical readiness of students- choreographers for performance of technically difficult female stunt elements is offered.

Conclusion. The technique promotes the level of physical preparedness of students-choreographers, and further development of the technique of stunt elements of feminine Russian folk dance.
