EDUCATION CONTENT DESIGN FOR UNIVERSITY VOCATIONAL TRAINING TEACHERS ON THE BASIS OF COMPETENCE APPROACH

Introduction. Under the conditions of adaptation of the Russian system of professional and pedagogical education to the demands of the economy, there is an objective need to design such content of training of teachers of vocational training in higher education, which provides the formation of the competencies specified in the Federal state educational standard of higher education, taking into account the requirements of the professional standard “Teacher of vocational training, vocational training and additional vocational education”.

Methodology. The theoretical basis of the present research was made by scientific provisions and, presented in works of the domestic and foreign scientists who were engaged in questions of competence approach to preparation of pedagogical shots, and also normative documents in the field of the higher pedagogical education.

Results. Theoretically substantiated and in experimental work tested a set of organizational and pedagogical conditions of designing the content of training of teachers of vocational training in high school on the basis of competence approach. These include: modernization of the basic professional educational program, curriculum, work programs of educational disciplines by their modular construction; updating the methodology of teaching subjects through the inclusion of professional and pedagogical tasks; development of educational materials that ensure the implementation of educational technologies that meet the competence approach.

Summary. The education content for university vocational training teachers should assume their maximum professionalism, i.e. the emphasis on practice-oriented training provided through the solution of professional and pedagogical tasks.
