BUSINESS PROCESSES IMPROVEMENT AS THE BASIS FOR THE PROCESS MANAGEMENT INTRODUCTION (ON THE EXAMPLE OF A  SEWING  SMALL BUSINESS)

Introduction. Modern management theories are focused on the importance of business processes and process management. The system of product quality improvement is a part of the enterprise management system. The management system standards of the company emphasizes the need for continuous improvement of processes. The purpose of this article is to analyze the business processes of a small garment industry enterprise, which is the first step in their improvement.

Method of research. The paper uses the methods of structural analysis, visual modeling: methodology IDEF3, notation DFD, EPC-charts.

Results. The main business processes are identified and described. The problem process on which activity commercial success of the enterprise depends is defined. The business process is cross-functional, cross-cutting, for its improvement it is necessary to consider crisis problem areas in a comprehensive and detailed way.

Summary. The results of the work are the basis for the next stage of improving business processes- documentation and regulation of business processes, development of a system of indicators of product quality and processes.
