ANALYSIS OF METHODS FOR PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES IMPROVEMENT BEING ONE OF INDICATORS OF CREATIVE SPECIALTIES STUDENTS INDIVIDUALITY DEVELOPMENT

Introduction. Different methods of teaching “Dance” discipline for students of creative specialties are considered. The main stages of the lesson construction are singled out, the sequence in the study of the cho- reography basic elements is determined. Previously presented methods in the scientific literature are ana- lyzed and prerequisites for further research of “Dance” discipline relevant to the system of modern higher education are determined. Problem formulation. The article formulates the research problem, the essence of which lies in a clear definition of the content component of the discipline in the modern educational en- vironment. Contents of the study. The main tasks of “Dance” discipline are established: the first is the de- velopment and improvement of the students’ physical abilities (coordination and power abilities, flexibility, dexterity, etc.); the second is the upbringing of the “musical body”, which has a plastic expressiveness ca- pable of realizing the “life of the human spirit.” The degree of interrelation between “speech”, “singing” and “dance” has been revealed. An attempt has been made to establish the influence of choreographic exercises on the improvement of physical abilities, such as: flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, etc. The means of the discipline are determined: it is proposed to use the means of choreographic training to correct physical defects, to develop the body, to bring up correct posture and improve physical abilities; if the aim is to up bring the “musical body” it is recommended to perform various sketches and compositions allowing the students to express the essence of the musical work in dance plastic. Step-by-step study of speech- dancing and vocal-dancing compositions is offered. The guidelines for the “Dance” discipline are given.

Conclusion. The technique combining dance movements, speech and singing as the main content component of “Dance” subject is suggested. The significance of dance exercise as a means of correcting

physical defects, developing and staging a body, bringing up a correct posture and improving the physical abilities of students is determined.
