The method of discourse analysis analyzes the essays schoolchildren 9-12 years of age. Speech mate-rial is defined as children’s institutional discourse on computers and tablets. The directions of the semantic association in the texts are information, communication, development (mind), health, exercise, and fresh air walks. Children associate opposite general and special assessment of life, the world, man with the presence or absence of computers and tablets. Members of the children’s society present themselves as the victims of new technologies that can’t control what happens in their lives. Texts include tips, cautions, advice peers, that content overlap with the recommendations on the topic of “kids and gadgets” in the popular scientific litera-ture. The latter are regarded as indiscernible inclusion.
